Is a Lip Balm Fundraiser Worth It?
What should we charge?
Two dollars is the easy yes at a concession stand or a front office. Three works at concerts, tournaments and craft fairs, and three for $5 moves the whole box faster.
Do we owe a fundraising company a cut?
No. You buy the tubes and keep every dollar above your cost. No contract, no percentage split, no sign-up fee. The smallest order is 100 tubes for $75.
What if we don't sell them all?
Nothing to refrigerate and nothing to bake. Leftovers go back in the box and sell at the next home game, concert or spirit night.

Questions
Why does lip balm work as a fundraiser?
It is cheap to buy, easy to carry and everybody uses it. Tubes cost from $0.69 to $0.75 each and most groups sell them for $2 to $3, so the margin is high and there is nothing to refrigerate, bake or deliver later.
How much money can our group raise?
At 1,000 tubes the cost is $0.72 each, or $720 total. Sold at $2 each that is $2,000 raised and $1,280 of profit for your group. Sold at $3 it is $3,000 raised and $2,280 of profit.
What is the minimum order for a fundraiser?
100 tubes. Most schools, teams and church groups order 600 or more because shipping is free at 600 and the price drops with every quantity break.
Do you design the label for us?
Yes, free. Send your school, team or organization logo and we set the label, then email a proof for approval before anything prints.
Do we owe a fundraising company a percentage?
No. You buy the tubes at wholesale and keep every dollar above your cost. There is no contract, no percentage split and no sign-up fee. The smallest order is 100 tubes for $75.
How many tubes do we need to sell to raise $1,000?
Buy 1,000 tubes for $720. Selling 860 of them at $2 each, or 574 at $3 each, clears $1,000 for your group. Selling all 1,000 keeps $1,280 at $2 a tube or $2,280 at $3.
Can we sell these at games and events?
Yes. Groups sell them at concession stands, home games, band concerts, church events, craft fairs and school pickup lines. They fit in a basket by the register and do not spoil.
